SO- a ton of “How to make a comic” videos/tutorials happen to only talk about the ideas and story behind creating a webcomic. I haven’t really seen any actual”This is how you make a webcomic in a program” thing- and as a perfectionist, I didn’t wanna make my own panels and have them unevenly spaced. So this comic is made with Medibang and Autodesk Sketchbook.

Post Note: Some people may be upset over the usage of the materials catalog. However if you’re starting out, I don’t see the problem in it. But it is highly suggested that you type/write out the dialog first, then constrain the bubble to the words and not vice versa.
DIY Fonts/Text: If you wanna make your handwriting into a font, I suggest using Calligraphr. It took over “My Script Font” but I suggest to use the “Quick Test” if you only need letters/minimal punctuation. However with an account you can make a few LIMITED fonts for free- so if you want a font with both capital, lowercase, numbers, punctuation, and special characters (å,‰,ø,©, etc.) you’ll either have to make multiple fonts, or pay to make one solid font.
Available Fonts: Personally, I search up “Hand written/script fonts” and look for comercial free ones. If you work o iOS/Apple products, I highly suggest to download “iFont”. It’s an app where you can download any font online. Sites like “FontSquirrel”, “1001 Fonts”, and “DaFont” are good places where you can mark for ‘Comercial Free’ fonts.
